Meet the Staff
Carriage Driving Trainer: Rachael Blanchard
Rachael Blanchard has been riding and competing since the age of 2. She competed in her first lead line class at 18 months. She began riding a POA in hunter shows. She quickly developed a love of Saddlebreds and Arabs and began her Saddleseat career by successfully showing on the western show circuits.
Upon her return to the east coat, her carriage driving career began at Kateland Farm; a miniature horse farm that specializes in ADS driving. For her 10 year tenure at Kateland Farm, she trained miniatures to drive, gave lessons, ran a drill team, and ran summer camps; which she continues to do each summer. She has won numerous championships at driving shows in the Northeast and competed in AMHA and AMHR breed shows. She has a proven record with singles, pairs, tandems, unicorns, 4-in-hands, and trandems. Rachael will continue her love of driving at Belle Grey Farm and will provide training and sales assistance. Her show career will continue at Belle Grey Farm and she can be seen at both local and regional pleasure and combined driving events.
