2011 Jameswood Fall Pleasure Driving Classic

Entries are now open for our October 22nd show. Below you will find the Prize List and Entry Form. This will be a 1-day show, beginning at 8:30am. We do offer limited stabling on our property. Divisions included are Horse, Pony/VSE, and Novice - singles and multiples can enter in these Divisions. Each Division will compete in 5 classes - Super Reinsmanship, Fault & Out Obstacle, Turnout, Progressive Cones and Pace Pleasure Drive. Entry fee per class is $15.

2012 Spring Pleasure Driving Show

We are pleased to announce we have secured our first show date for 2012...please mark your calendars for Saturday, May 19th!! Limited information will be available the next issue of the Omnibus magazine and as we get more information, we will post it here.

 

 

Past Events

Summer Camp & Pleasure Driving Show

It's been a busy summer at Belle Grey Farm! We wrapped up 5 weeks of Summer Camp where children ages 5-10 learned the ins and outs of the sport of carriage driving. Each camper had the opportunity to learn various event types with our Champion miniature horses. Keeping a low camper to staff ratio allowed us to tailor the camp to each child's ability level and everyone had a fabulous time. The parents and families had a great time coming out at the end of each week to see what their little ones learned. We are looking forward to doing it again next year!

And on July 23rd, we held our first Pleasure Driving show of the year. Unfortunately, the high heat caused a lot of cancellations but we pressed on and adapted to accommodate the competitors by running the show as a clinic. The participants had a wonderful time competing in all 5 classes and were grateful for the invaluable guidance they received from our extremely knowledgeable ADS judge, Dana Bright. We hope the weather will be more cooperative for our next show on October 22nd.

Jameswood Pleasure Driving Classic

Thank you to all the competitors who made this event such a pleasure to host! We appreciated the kind words and encouragement throughout the course of the day.
